What do you get when you cross a crab-catching pot with glitzy lights? An all-night scallop disco. UK scientists have discovered that adding lights to crab-catching pot attracts scallops in droves. It’s good for the marine environment as no more dredging to catch scallops. Who knew scallops had the John Travolta gene?
