Verse 13: A Billion Billion Operations
Just coming off a much needed few days off for U.S. Memorial Day, we are now back at it. Among many items of note below, one that just came off the wires is that Oak Ridge National Laboratory's Frontier facility was qualified as the first true exascale computing platform, capable of performing a billion billion operations per second (and we’re happy to finally report that Elon Musk had NOTHING to do with this!). Other than that, there is much more going on in the world; Global inflation is still going north! Is Monkeypox the new Covid? Oil is the new oil!
