Verse 21: We’re Finally Legal!

Hello! We came across a study in the journal Nature Food while getting this issue together. It found that five billion people would die in a modern nuclear war between the US and Russia (over half of humanity). It gets better—the vast majority of us wouldn’t die instantly from the blasts. No, we’d perish from a global famine. The last time this seemed a possibility for us, we were watching Knight Rider, trying to master Trivial Pursuit and Ghostbusters was at the movies!

Among items of note in this issue of Verse; what AI still doesn’t know how to do, scientists create a robot made of magnetic slime and how AI is helping to keep music alive.
